Christmas Planning 2014

Postby CandyKane » Sat Jun 21, 2014 12:48 pm

Anyone keeping a Christmas Notebook this year? I've tried it in the past but I don't keep up very well. My major plan this year is to put up a Christmas Village. My Moms Village pieces have been packed up since she passed away. I am determined to put them up this year with my dd. She would invest in one or two pieces every year and I'd like to continue this tradition.

“Our hearts grow tender with childhood memories and love of kindred, and we are better throughout the year for having, in spirit, become a child again at Christmastime.”

Remember when Mrs C listed the Christmas notebook links? Every year I make one but only once did I complete it on time. So lady year I just did a list. Our family is so busy & kiddos so active that I've decided to just do my best. I like your idea to honor hour Mom. The nativity set I made for my Mom has been packed up since her last Christmas 2009. Maybe it is time to unpack it this Christmas. It brings strong memories just remembering the set.

I SO SO want to follow the Holiday Grand Plan...but I am just never diligent or organized enough to pull it off! Especially now that we are remodeling our house! It seems it is always a dusty, dirty mess lately!
