Notebook Challenge W/C 20 July

Postby Snowbelle27 » Mon Jul 21, 2008 5:03 am

Now that we have the basic notebook and dividers in place we will set about filling out the sections we have decided on. As there are only 5 weeks until the HGP starts we will tackle a couple of sections per week. I have tried to group them so that there will be a big section ( for want of a better description) with ones where there is not so much work.

CALENDERS - Print yourself some calenders month by month to file in this section. I have September to December. Mark any events you have planned and use it like a diary. I also have printed out a copy of The Holiday Grand Plan calender or if you prefer the Holiday Houseworks Plan. Here are some links for calenders :-

HOLIDAY GRAND PLAN OR HOLIDAY HOUSEWORKS PLAN
Choose a plan which you think will suit you best. Below are some links to ones I have found. Last year I followed the HGP but after I printed it all out I found the HHP. So for this year I have written my own plan which is a combination of the two with a couple of my own things thrown in.

Print a copy of the plan you are going to follow and a copy of the relevant checklists.

Happy planning! Please free to ask any questions or to share anything that you feel would be useful.

I've almost downloaded every plan, so I can go over them this week and pick and choose the sheets I like best. :D

Haven't had much of an opportunity to review all the sheets in the plans this week. I'm hoping tomorrow morning I'll be able to tackle it a little more.

Winterself,

The sections I have in my Notebook are:-
Calenders
Holiday Houseworks Plan/Holiday Grand Plan
Cleaning Check Lists
Rudolph Club
Notes
Cards & gifts
Celebrations
Decorations
Advent
Traditions
Food
Holiday Media
Crafts
I have a dedicated Notebook for Christmas Recipes, but you may want to include this as a section to start with, depending on how many recipes you have.

If you also read my posts

You are not far behind, all we have done so far is find a suitable binder and decide on some sections. Last week we developed the first 2 sections which are Calenders and a 'Plan'. If you read the above links they will throw a bit more light on things for you and they also include some links for forms, dividers etc.

I am just about to put up the challenge for this week.

Happy Notebooking!
