Some of the pages have been updated (although I think she just put them into pdfs). I did notice the section dividers are new though and look great. I can't wait until it's time to start. :jump:

I can't seem to find the section dividers.

Edit: Never mind, found them. Had to click through "printable checklists and calendars".

Here's the link where you can print the pages (the dividers are on page 2).

WOW! Too organized for me. Nice idea though. We like to wing it for the Holidays - I mean we have certain things we do every year but we remember them because we do them every year :-)

Nice link though - I might have to get amibtious next year and try this out.

There's still time to follow along this year. You could always just check it out while the rest of us do it and see what parts you like and don't like. That's the bonus with this plan and the others, you can customize it to meet your needs.

How cool are the dividers and checklists - I printed off all the older ones but I just went and did all the dividers.

My notebook is coming along well - all up to date and I have even started on some of the lists.

My planner is going to plan at the moment.

I have all my lists done and I have done some questions and answered how we will deal with it.

I am totally behind schedule. Now that Moms denial has broken, she requires care 24/7. This Christmas is not only going to be sad, but unprepared. Oh, well, I'll keep trying.

Noel - sometimes you just have to be - live in the moment. Remember sadness can be turned into joy. Try to focus on the meaning behind what you do and why and you will be prepared. You may not have a clean and tidy house but the important things will be prepared, especially your heart.

The time spent with loved ones is an important part of my Christmas - throughout our losses I try to remember they need joy too. I still don't forget, I just choose to remember in specific ways. I hope this makes sense. We went through this last Christmas with the passing of hubby's brother and now we'll be doing it again with the passing of my mother. Life changes but the reason for celebrating Christmas does not.

Now to try to get a little back on topic - all I'm really trying to say is just do what you can to prepare yourself and your family for Christmas. Think and re-think your traditions and see what will fit this year. So if that's all you can with your plan this year - then that's all that gets done. It's very flexible and is only used as a guide to how you might set it up.

Thank you, Mrs. C. I'm struggling with my perfectionist tendencies again............when sadness is clearly a 1st priority in the midst of grief..........but we do focus on the joy. My stubborn streak doesn't want to face a Christmas changed by loss again but it always gives way in the presence of Christmas. This year will be different but that will not change. You are right.

The first Christmas without a loved one is always tough. Being long distance from the people you care about is tough too. But when I start feeling sorry for myself, I keep in mind how far from home and family the Holy Family were on that special night, so long ago. They still found shelter and comfort, as poor as it was, and the World was forever enriched for it.

Things will get better Noel. Promise.

Well I am officially behind but I have plans to catch up this weekend.

I have not done the master bedroom yet.

I have done all my lists, questions, entry and lounge room.

We have a long weekend this weekend for labour day, so I have a whole extra day and more sunlight because daylight savings starts on Sunday to catch up and do a bit of gardening as well.

I've been doing more cleaning and organising. There's a load of stuff to go on eBay and books to be posted on Amazon as used. :holly1:
