Kitchen Organizing

Postby Mrs.Claus » Wed Jul 02, 2008 7:18 pm

Guess what - I cleaned out my refrigerator/freezer and big freezer today. The girls helped and we now have an inventory of items. I'm trying to convince them to type it into the computer (1. it will help with typing skills and 2. I'll be able to read it  ).

Tomorrow I want to tackle the cupboards. :jump: Hopefully :hide:

Why is it there are never enough kitchen cupboards in a home in the first place? And 2nd.........why is it so hard to keep them neat, tidy and refreshed? I've put this project off for 2 summers. Oops!

Congrats! Mrs C! are conquring kitchen clutter!!! :throw:

Well haven't made it to the cupboards yet. Oh well perhaps Monday.

I totally agree with there never being enough cabinets. I so want to reno my kitchen but that will probably be in another 10 years (need to save up for it). I need new floors, cupboards, and counter top. A new fridge and stove would be nice too. Ah now I'm really dreaming.

It's been too hot to do much cleaning these last couple of days. So, of course, I'll find any excuse not too

I've been using the Freezer Inventory Form from organized Home for a few months now and I must say I have found it has made my weekly menu planning much easier. I love that feeling of having acheived something but unfortunately it doesn't seem to last long as there is always something that needs doing.

Well done Mrs Claus!
