This is our Advent Calander - Each drawer has an ornament, like a toy in it and I put chocolates or candy canes in there for whoever gets to it first each day - you eat the candy and hand the ornament in Santa's workshop

I love that Santa! The trees are great and a friend of mine has an advent calendar similar to yours, she was looking for something that wouldn't hold candy so the children wouldn't fight over it.

I'm taking my mom out for our annual Mother's Day Brunch and because she's still having trouble reading after her Stroke last year and she's always enjoyed romance novels like Daniel Steele and Mauve Bianchy (sp?), I picked up two of Daniel Steele DVDs that aired on TV once upon a time and a nightshirt to wear while she watches them.
