Well I finally took some pics at the Christmas Barn - there were over 200, so I have cut it down heaps.

Maybe I should start a flickr account???

Wow! The white nativity scene and the angel in red (after the Nutcracker photo) are gorgeous.

Those of you with specialty shops like this near you (or at least within reasonable travel or mail order) are so lucky. I would go absolutely mental in places like The Christmas Barn and Bronner's.

Great photos Jodie! Why not upload them to CAY's Flickr account when you have time?

Jodie - I love all your pics. I think they're awesome!

And I agree you should get a flickr account - a great place to store your pics and show them off. :D

Oh, Jodie, the Christmas Barn is a wonderland of decorations! You are so thoughtful to take snapshots for us to see this magical place! I could spend an entire week of vacation in that store!!! :jump:

My favorites were the Victoriana and folk-art items, but everything was so festive! How many items did you buy? Do you mind sharing what caught your eye? :snowwow:

I am so glad you liked the pics - I took so many more but chose the best ones to put on CAY.

I only bought some lights and a small Santa Troll this time around (he is so cute).

Nearly all my Christmas decorations are from the Barn. Over the years I have slowly replaced the cheaper ones with heirloom style ornaments that can be passed on to the kids (and grandkids one day).

I have two themes - one is silver and snow and the other is more eclectic, with a variety of colours and styles but it seems to work.

I honestly have too many favourites. Whenever I go down to Bredbo to the Barn, I always spend a few hours there because even twice around the shop you tend to miss a lot of decorations that are just tucked under a tree or behind something else.

Your collections sounds lovely, Jodie! I imagine, from the pictures, that little treasures are tucked into corners too. Thanks again for sharing! :jump:
