This is so easy.youll need.
1 (16oz) frozen pound cake like sara lees
1 (1lb) pkg.confectioners sugar
3 3/4 cup sugar
4-6 drops water or milk
food coloring
christmas candies
**witha long sharp knife,trim the pound cake lump off the top to make flat.trim the crusts off the sides.slice the cake in half horizontally.the crosswise into 1 inch squares.place cake pieces on a wire rack over a pan or cookie sheet.
In a large bowl,slowly add water or milk to confectioners sugaruntil mixture is desired consistency.add food coloring and tint to desired color.
Spoon icing evenly over tops and sides of cake pieces.Icing that drips off can be reused.Decorate as desired.makes about 24 pieces.
PS.Dont bother to defrost cake.its better to do while its frozen.
