You are welcome Noel, there are so many of these on You Tube.

I was having fun finding and watching them. I thought that my CAY friends would enjoy them too.

First stop after the Welcome Booth - music to enjoy Christmas by ... and to lullaby me to sleep.

I won't hog my own post by including too many at once. Here are three that I simply must share with you. They are not necessarily my favourites, but I am a mood listener and tonight they share my mood.

David Bowie Meets Bing Crosby - Little Drummer Boy

Seems as though my first visit to this section calls for a special song “We Need a Little Christmas” performed in one of my favourite animated specials, A Muppet Family Christmas.

And this one is sure to bring out the child in you ... Polar Express ~ Believe

:smilecc: I'm glad to hear it. I didn't enjoy the movie when I saw it as much as I thought I would, but I had a bit of a headache and the sound in the threater was crazy loud especially when the train was on it's side screeching across the ice, but now I'm ready to watch it again.

Here's one that isn't Christmassy, but Merry Sage needs to hear it.

Here Comes Santa Claus ~ silly video worth watching - looks like something I’d do if I had more time.

:singing: I liked your choices too, Jodie! I know there are folks out there who don't like that song, but I do. I used the tune from Feliz Navidad in a song my brother created for a Christmas puppet troupe I belonged too back in High School. Sometimes when I hear that song, I think back to those days when we put on shows for elementary schools, Church groups, private parties and we took them carolling too to raise money for the Santa Fund, but we sang the real lyrics of Christmas songs when we were carolling.

Thanks Auntie M.

I think I saw it written down somewhere and the tune was stuck in my head for ages.

I think it is a great song.

Here are a couple of new ones I have to share ...

Snow Miser / Heat Miser ~ clips from the Rankin and Bass special The Year Without Santa Claus

It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas (Perry Como) ~ with clips from A Christmas Story

Joy to the World Mannheim Stemroller’s version ~ check this one out
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68j6Ceof ... re=related

My husband wanders into the computer/guest room now and then and thinks I'm nuts for watching Christmas-related videos on YouTube. Yet every now and then he'll ask me in front of a cashier how many days are left until Christmas. Does that make me a "trained monkey" or a "Christmas Wacko"?

I think we're all a wee bit different from regular folks, but instead of keeping it a secret some of us continue to remind our families and co-workers how much we love it throughout the year.

Those are great choices too Auntie M!

I love Como's It's Beginning.........they play it at Thanksgiving and I know Christmas is around the corner!

And my kids and I sing all the classic songs at Christmas time and the Heat Miser one has a great beat!

Look what I found - I had this back in the early 80's, in the mid-80's I gave it to a group home for children to enjoy.

This is my ultimate favourite:

Thomas Kinkade's beautiful Christmas art and the voice of Karen Carpenter will really get you into the spirit of Christmas! :santa:
