"It's a Wonderful Life" (1947).

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all and it s Christmas! As the angels discuss George we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge he ends up rescuing his guardian angel Clarence. Clarence then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn t been for all of his good deeds over the years. Will Clarence be able to convince George to return to his family and forget suicide?

The value of a single human soul and its impact upon all those other souls it mingles with on earth! I love this movie too and once it was my favorite! Its now #2 -- and a must see atleast once yearly!! :scene:

I'm a bit :oops: to admit it, but I've never seen this movie in its entirety. This year I'm going to get a copy so I can see it from start to finish. :holly1:

Merry - it can tend to be a bit long, but it's worth it. I don't watch it every year but try to get it in every other year.

Seemed for year and years, this film could be seen on any and all TV stations, almost any hour o the day, once Thanksgiving had come and gone. I kind of miss the fun of that. Great film. :reindeersmile:
