Forum Guidelines - Revised October 2008

These guidelines help to make this board a pleasant place for everyone.

1. Please NO spamming and/or flaming of other members. Please respect the thoughts of others. Sometimes statements do not translate well on forums as they do in person, it is helpful to ask what is meant.

2. If you know of a family-friendly website, feel free to post it in the appropriate section. Please keep ALL posts ADVERTISING your website to the section of the board designated for it: Holiday Surfing. Make just one post advertising your website when changes to your site are made all you have to do is reply to the original post.

3. Posts cannot contain content of a racist or pornographic nature or include links to sites with racist or pornographic material. If you post any such material you will be given a warning - second offence and you will be banned. This is a family-friendly board.

4. Copyright is a serious issue. If you are copying from books, magazines, websites, anything, please respect copyright laws. This includes photographs and pictures. (Also refer to guideline #6.)

5. You MUST be at least 13 years old or older to join this forum.

6. Please do NOT direct link your signature and avatar images from websites without their permission - this is bandwidth theft. For those who don't know, direct linking (hot linking) is when you right click on an image, click on properties in the menu, and then copy the address and use it to post the image here.
