You can share your pictures in whatever Board and Section best suits them.
Please do not hotlink the image. What is hotlinking? It is direct linking to a website's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <IMG> tag to display an image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, journal, weblog, forum posting, etc. by linking to their site. Definition and more information at http://altlab.com/hotlinking.html. Check out Image Hostingtopic to find places where you can store graphics. How to add a picture to a post:
When typing your post, click on the Img box at the top Add the link to the image between the img tags
- Code: Select all
[img][/img]
[img]link to image[/img]
For example:
- Code: Select all
[img]http://christmasallyear.org/images/snowheader.gif[/img]
will look like this:

Plus we now have a flickr account. Feel free to join up and share your pictures there too!

Auntie asked: "Do the images we post in the Flickr community create a gallery that can be viewed, but not borrowed or are they up for grabs once they are uploaded?"
This all depends on the Creative Commons license use. With each of your own pictures you can decide whether you want full copyright (all rights reserved) or public domain.
Here's the Creative Commons website to check out:

That doesn't sound silly Noel. I don't post any family pics either (on my Facebook, but that's only open to "friends" only). Although I do post pics of trees and ornaments, and other Christmassy things (like at the Festival of Trees).

I forgot (can't believe it slipped my mind) to mention something which flickr does offer and the is the ability to choose whether you want your pictures to be private or public and to what degree - Only You, Your Friends, Your Family, or Anyone. You can also choose who can comment or makes notes and tags regarding your photos too.

Added my Bronner's pictures to the Flickr account - hope you enjoy! You don't have to be a member to view most of the pictures (depends on the photographer's settings).

That's fine - a few non-Christmas pics are okay, but our main focus is Christmas
