It may seem like Thanksgiving is a long way off, but really it is only 3 months til we need to do our grocery shopping!
Has anyone planned their Thanksgiving Day menu yet?
Are you hosting family/friends?
Do you decorate for the day?
Please share your Turkey Day plans!

As I'm in the UK we don't do Thanksgiving, but as I've joined a couple of Christmas sites over the past few months I have reading quite a bit about it. I've also been buying the Martha Stewart 'Living' magazine and it has inspired me.
I will do my family a turkey dinner and make some decorations. I have found some wonderful tablescapes, and I would also like to make a Thanksgiving tree with my children, which someone posted about on another site.

I don't have much control over the Thanksgiving meal - I'm really just told what to bring, usually buns. We live the farthest away and they don't want us to bring anything that can spoil or is messy, etc. Plus we come down 2 days before and stay the whole weekend. (Canadian Thanksgiving is on the second Monday in October - the 13th this year)

After we were married, we went to both parents houses for Thanksgiving dinner! Whew! 2 full dinners in one day! One around 12 Noon and the other for dinner around 5pm
Man we were full!
The past 2-3 years we just been going to my wife's parents for dinner - late lunch-ish actually. MUCH better on the stomach!! :-)

This year was done a lot differently....there was no turkey or extended family members

but overall I had a great time spending time with my parents and brother. We ate cabbage rolls, rice, hot tea and veggies....and of course: PUMPKIN PIE!
