None. We live in the country.
We take our kids into the village to trick or treat.
DS was Darth Vader
DD6 princess
DD4 witch.
I saw mostly princesses, star wars characters and super heroes.

Awesome! We only had 2 kids in our apartment complex :-(
We have 1,000 units and only 2 kids - I think they're doing the 'safe' Hallowen at the mall, etc.

People just aren't 'into it' like they used to be...I grew up in the 70's and there were just tons and tons of kids - those were the days when you gave out the homemade candy apples and popcorn balls and such....

:pumpkin:

I only had like 8 kids come to my house in 2008. I had decorated my house with all kinds of creepy props and lights....but I think my next door neighbors scared all the kids away with their scary halloween music! Oh, well.....there was lots of candy left for me! But you wouldn't believe the kind of stomach ache I had after! I think I learned my lesson from that.

Halloween has never really caught on in England. Some children go to privately organised parties, but trick or treating is virtually unknown. At least in the part of the country where we live. The eight years we've been living here, I've yet to have a single caller.

Having said that, I still get a few treats in and carve a pumpkin (if I can find one!). You never know!

We keep the children safe at a church bazaar on Halloween night. Before/after we do have children parade in costume to our door for candy.
