ANZAC Day

April 25th is ANZAC Day here in Australia.

We remember the men and women who fought and fight for our freedom. We mourn the loss of those that went to war and never came home.

It is more for the ANZACs who went to WW1 and the battle at Gallipoli.

There is a dawn service held at the war memorial and OH and I go every year - it is such a very moving ceremony.

We will go again this year - Lest We Forget.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Merry Sage, we use poppy's to remember them as well - so I guess it is the same.

It is lovely to know that those that have fought for our world are remembered all over the world.
