2009 Christmas Card Exchange

The place for Christmas and non-Christmas chatter.

I'd love to participate, I'd put myself in for it at the first of the year, but the flamin' post office here is unreliable. They're on strike now, again, and there's going to be more strike action later. Idiots.

I'm very up for the email card exchange tho. May I suggest you pm me your email address, if it's not viewable on your profie, so I can send you a Christmas e-card.

I'm
merrysage@gmail.com

Isn't this exciting! Christmas is getting closer!

OK I have a list but have still not had a confirmation of the address supplied earlier this year from Xmas DVD and I am pretty sure he wanted to be in it.

I will do the list up today and wait another week so that Xmas DVD can be on it if you still want to be - can you let me know your address in the next week so that I can send it out and send you the list as well.

Cheers
Jodie

I have sent the list out to everyone except our cheery members who did not get back to me...

If they still want to be in it, I am happy to add them as it won't matter if their cards go out a little late or we send one or two a little later - it just prolongs this wonderful time of year.

My 1st suggestion would be the dollar store for either premade cards or stock/pens/stickers to create your own cards. Good luck! :smilecc:

Thanks Jodie.

My family has organized all the cards/stamps etc. so when I'm able to sit up, I can address the cards! YAY!

Just checking to see if anyone has received my Christmas Cards yet?

I posted them a couple of weeks ago to make sure they had plenty of time to reach everyone.

Has anyone else sent theirs yet?

I received ksrjreed's card in the post on Saturday - thanks so much, it was a lovely surprise in all the busyness of Christmas...

I hope my cards have made it to everyone on time - I did post them back in November to make sure that they were received by Christmas...

Noel, don't worry about it - just post them when you have time... They will still be gladly received when they get where they are going :D

I received yours some time ago, just haven't had time to come on here and tell you.

My children are holding your cards in a stocking for us to open Christmas Eve night.

I only had today off........work the next 6 except Christmas Day......and just too exhausted to complete the cards. I'll try again tomorrow after work.

My apologies...........no Christmas cards sent out to family/friends/CAYers this year.

My Dh came down with the H1N1 and my children are showing symptoms. Viruses attach themselves to any item [fomites] and I'm not mailing these germs to you!

This is my 1st year to miss sending cards. I promise to be 1st next year to send mine out to you.

And to those of you who sent me cards? You touched not only my heart, but that of my family, with the true gift of Christmas [giving].

WIshing you a blessed Christmas!

Noel

OMG - this totally got forgotten. I am so very sorry. Had a bit of a stressful time leading up to Christmas so many things got forgotten. I promise to do better. Perhaps you'll see Christmas cards coming at strange times of the year - we do celebrate Christmas all year
