Its hard to explain mincepies . They are

pastry made with butter and the filling is a mix of suet , raisins , sultanas and other hidden fruits as i buy ready mincemeat . I actually make holes in the top of the mincemeat when i open the jar and pour brandy in for an extra special taste . You can make around 30 mincepies from a jar . They are nice served hot with either brandy butter , rum sauce or fresh cream .
