QotM - Season Ending

How do you feel about the Christmas season ending? Is there a bit of a letdown or do you feel pumped for the next year? Feel free to share your thoughts.

For all the build up to it, it does seem to be over much too quickly. One of the reasons I like to start celebrating with the onset of Advent. I think this year we'll leave the tree and decorations up til 12th Night too!

And since most of what I have for Christmas decorations (which isn't a lot admittedly) isn't being shipped with us back to Canada (cost factors), I can look forward to going bananas, collecting new decorations for this year!

Sad.........for me. This year, working the entire week of Christmas, meant I was so busy, so exhausted, that by the time New Year's rolled along I still didn't 'feel' like I had a Christmas. Now, as the last of the decorations is boxed up, I do feel a tinge of the blues........I usually do.......as the house seems plain, I miss the music & lights...........but keep Christmas in my heart.

I have to agree I usually feel a little sad when all the festivities are over. I'm trying to keep myself lifted by planning some ideas for next year. I've been updating my Christmas notebook and I have to say it seems to have ahelped a bit.
