We have bought a few Christmas presents so far this year. Mostly at Fall Festivals. We will be Christmas shopping all day on Saturday, November 8th.
That's the day we go to an event called "Christmas made in the South" and then all over town looking for bargains and just the right gifts. Some people are impossible to by for. I think I may be one of them.

I just watched your video again. Now I'm really getting excited to decorate the house (inside and out). I also subscribed to your channel. So now when you post another Christmas video, I'll see it. :smilecc:

Mostly we will be buying gifts for the Swedish family to bring home with us. I am looking forward to buying jeans that fit and ...........er.........."unmentionables". Once I know my current size in such things, I can order from Sears International. We will also buy some San Antonio Coffee, and eggnog coffee creamer. Perky is looking forward to buying a t shirt at either the authentic Army Navy Store, if it is still around, or ......the name of the store has left me. the one that has all the "navy stuff". My brain is too Christmas tired. Old Navy?? I have not told him that in my experience Old Navy does not have Jolly Santa sizes.

I am looking forward to cooking authentic Frito pie (no fritos at the North Pole), stuffed salmon (yes we have cheap salmon, but want Perky to see what I had before I got here), pinwheel steak (also a specialty of the local grocery, or at least it WAS), Red Lobester, lots of Tex Mex. A "traditional" thanksgiving with family..............last year they had lasagna and met on Saturday. They were weird before I left, but have gone off the deep end since then. The Swedes have to come over and remind them what Thanksgiving should be. :thanks:

I am also looking forward to nonstop Thanskgiving and Christmas movies on tv.

I saw on Swedish tv that there is a link between sleeping issues and Alzheimers. I am sunk. LOL :sleephat: :scene: :shop:

Sounds like a great plan Jolly. And FUN! I understand about wanting traditional Thanksgiving meal -- that's how I feel. Younger members of our extended family want TexMex or seafood. Hope all your expectations are met while here. :P :smilecc:

Christmas music is on at my house, the local park has their Christmas display up and ready to go, the mall is decorated, and we have a chance of some snow tomorrow night into Saturday morning, all that together means one thing CHRISTMAS SEASON IS HERE!!!!!!!
