Thanks Jolly. What a beautiful cat! My daughter says its a Frozen cat!

I am probably the only person alive who has not seen Frozen. The vet said my cat was too fat. So, after Christmas she goes on a diet. She will not be too Christmas happy. n Hoping the size XL sweaters I ordered will not be too small. I was guessing most of that was hair......They are schnauzer sized......... :dinner: :muffs:

The other day my girlfriend told me that I should find a job that will incorporate my love of Christmas. I just about jumped out of my seat I was so excited!!

Does anyone have any suggestions? Just to be clear, I have a job now, but the opportunity to do what I love would be fantastic. I am open to any ideas!! Have a blessed night my CAY friends!

I think if I had unlimited funds, I would move to a place that celebrated Christmas year round. I have a distant cousin who retired to Santa Claus Indiana and bought a house that they will eventually turn into a bed and breakfast. There is a Christmas House in San Antonio that gets horrible reviews on Trip Advisor. We drove by and from the outside looks like it might have been renovated. One year we just need to suck it up and stay there so I can at least write an accurate review. If I had the money, I would buy it and turn it over to my cousins to run. They would love it. :scene:

I love fuzzy furry long haired cats. Still hour brushing is never done. And your cat deserves a Christmas treat too. Then comes diets in January.

I was trying to put off the shaving until January, but it needed to be done. Because the matting was so extreme they gave her a really close shave. It is interesting to see the varigation in the undercoat. She is a brown/beige "mix" and with the shaving you can see the beige undercoat. With the brown hair still long at her face, paws and tail, she really does look like a lion. Will try to post pics before we go to the Great White North for Christmas! :snowwow:

Two more days of work for me also, then off till Jan 5th. This Christmas season is passing me by too quickly. Time to refocus.

Busy, busy, busy.

As we get closer to Christmas it seems to get busier. Went and picked up the oldest child from college on Monday, had a Christmas dinner with my wife's brother who is in town this week, tonight is my youth group Christmas skit (I was going to do the nativity, but thanks to the flu and 80% of my kids missing practices I have completely changed courses to a skit that takes little effort or practice). Tomorrow is the youngest Christmas program and Friday night I am taking my youth group to walk around the local park and look at lights, then back to the church for devotional, pizza, and to watch ELF. Sounds busy, but it is a blast. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. :smilecc:

Jolly, a Christmas bed and breakfast would be fun! I know we don't have that around here. That is a great idea!

Trying to decide what clothes to take to the North. Hubby said it would be colder than Stockholm, but according to Swedish weather bureau, not that much. We are only traveling with duffle bags since we are taking the train. I have several Christmas sweaters I never get to wear, ironically. It is too warm inside the Swedish buildings to really "dress" for the cold. Christmas decisions, Christmas decisions........

You can google the web under Christmas Bed and Breakfast and see examples of people who have them. I would love to buy the one in SA and really make something of it. But alas, Santa has not given me that winning lottery ticket yet. :santa: :scene:
