:holly1: I can't believe it is almost here. Tomorrow morning I will be waking up early to buy one more Christmas present. I want the hours in the next 2 days to crawl by so I can soak it all in. :holly1:

Tomorrow morning I will also be making a gingerbread house with my two brothers. Last year we didn't actually get to it until after Christmas. Anytime is fun though. :gbhouse:

It is 10:41 am on Christmas eve here in Sweden. Christmas eve is the 'big day' here. At 3 pm, the whole country will sit down and watch Donald Duck Christmas (a conglomeration of Disney scenes from the past), then at 4 pm, the father will suddenly have to go out for a newspaper and while he is out, the Jultomte will appear! After presents, comes the julbord and feasting and watching tv, maybe a nap, then midnight mass. Christmas porridge is eaten either for breakfast or after mass. Chrismtas day is a sleep in and do nothing day. This American, however, will make a simple turkey dinner of turkey roast (.7 kg), baked sweet potatoes, brussel srouts, and lingonberry jam. My family in Texas will be feasting on tamales.......

God Jul! :snowhouse: :merrysleigh:

Christmas dishes are down, rinsed, and dried. Carrot salad and eggs are made. ham is in the oven. And even two loads of laundry done! T minus 14 minutes to Donald Duck! After present we will make the meatballs, sausage, and potatoes. Then feast, then get ready for mass at midnight.

Dd jumped out of bed and raced to the Christams tree to see if Sana had come. I told her not yet. He comes tonight so we've been tracking him on the NORAD site. :santadance: :santachim: :santagifts:
