I still have a temporary phone line hooked up, not sure when they will get around to fixing it as it involves the whole neighbourhood and running all new wire underground. But I'm taking what I can get; I just don't want to miss all my Christmas friends.

That sounds lovely! No job yet but thinking Christmas thoughts!
I have been spending my days cleaning Gotland dricku (homebrew beer from the island of Gotland) off my ceiling, walls, cabinets, and every nook and cranny. If I ever see or hear about this stuff again it will be too soon. Definitely a gift for those on the naughty list! (evil santa)
CandyKane wrote:Christmas Crazy, that Santa picture is beautiful. If our nearest Hobby Lobby wasn't over 60 miles away I'd go and check out their Christmas stuff. Fingers crossed for you to find this on after Christmas clearance.

The job I really want, The Fullbright comission is still on the table. I figure if I do not hear by tomorrow that is also dead, but trying to think happy Christmas thoughts!
Our neighbor called and asked if we were still friends. I said I had not decided yet. THEN, my beautiful husband admitted he ASKED for the stuff...............good thing he is cute................or the Swedish tomte might be bringing him coal for Christmas. ;-)
Mrs.Claus wrote:Jennifer - if you call them and ask would they think that bad? I know when looking here, if we don't hear anything in about 2 weeks, most people call and ask. It lets them know that you are interested, taking the time to contact them, and reminds them about you.
Praying for your Christmas miracle.

Maybe they will still have some after Christmas at a clearance price.
I hope everyone is having a great day!

Those are great ideas.
I sure hope the picture is still around when I have the money.
Still praying for your job situation.
