While I cannot testify specifically to the LED fairy lights, I can say that lights we have used look just as good as the originals. And supposedly they will last for as long as we would ever use them!

I know all of this about LED's only interested in the newest Fairy lights, and only switching because breakers were tripping off due to overload of our huge display. Well they are ordered 33 sets of 100's 32' long strings so guess we will find out how we like them, compared to other LED's

A handful of houses on my street leave nice white lights up on a tree in their front yard all year long. It looks so nice and I woukd like to do that at some point at my house. It definitely gives you that warm achristnas feeling all year!

Alot of people here leave the lights on the balcony from October to March while the sun is on vacation. It Always reminds me of Chrismas. :gbhouse:

I hope everyone who is feeling under the weather tests and gets well soon. I just got back from a lovely dinner party. The drive back was a little nerve-racking because of the snow, but it was a great time! It was nice to see that they still had two small decorated Christmas trees still up in their house!

It looks like another Nor'easter is on its way early this week. All of the new snow will make for a Christmassy winter wonderland! Everyone drive safe!

:shop: I finally was able to give one last Christmas present this evening...a block of Vermont Cabot cheese to my girlfriend's mother. It was supposed to be given to her on Christmas Day, but in the hustle and bustle of running around I forgot it in the fridge.

Ugh. Thinking of taxes is no Christmas fun! This is the first year Obama care has really set in so it will be fun to see how that affects us overseas tax payers.........not looking forward to it.

Had a great time on our overnight cruise. It was too short, so we extended it a bit by watching a couple of Love Boat eps on YouTube. Woudn't you know it, I chose a 2 parter where the second part is not uploaded. No Christmas fun!

Perky said that since our usual week of Christmas in July will be spent in Ireland, we can have Christmas in July the following week too. I told him he was setting a precedent for Christmas in July being two weeks. He said "yes". I said next you will want Christmas in July to last until Christmas in August and call it Summer Christmas. He said no that was too much. I am glad, Christmas in August loses its fun with no break in between.

This reminds me, I used to have a friend that on every 25th of the month would either watch a Christmas movie or play a Christmas CD.
