And it is not even Christmas in July yet........hope all my Christmas friends are keeping cool.
We're staying cooler this week. Rain, rain, rain. They are forcasting rain for the next 7 days. If rain were candy canes, we'd be having a huge Christmas party right now.

We have a burn ban, all outdoor grills are verboten. Too bad, Pentecost is a big grill day. We will probably use the electric burners on the balcony. I discovered the convenience of outdoor cooking without the mess of a grill. WE are off on our Pentecost cruise today. No, the cruises do not really have names, we just name them as it has become something of a "tradition". It does not take much for Perky to establish a "tradition". He's kinda fun. It came out of my desire to "do something" for pentecost which is almost a non event here. It is still a big weekend for confirmations and weddings. We showed up to church one Pentecost sunday and my FRIEND, the janitor said "oh, what are you doing here??" So we go on a short weekend cruise, then come home and watch Irish Church TV where they still wear red. The red reminds me of Christmas and makes me happy.
