Just got back from work and my second job this time of year, which is band camp. The kids have had a great day so far and tonight is our Christmas in July at church. We have a lot of fun activities for the kids tonight (all Christmas related), and I have a lesson that I hope the kids enjoy.

Oh I cannot wait to hear all about it! We are back from our Christmas in July cruise and had a great time. It started off hot yesterday and I was afraid we would regret it, but today was beautiful and the shipped was air conditioned! Woohoo!

There is a Christmas in July link from a food blog I belong to. I have not read it yet but look forward to it tomorrow. For now it is shower and a night back in my own bed. That feels almost as good as Christmas!

The Caramel Filled Baked Apples sound DELICIOUS! I am so going to do this in the fall while apples are so much cheaper!That will definitely get my Christmas-y smell in my house that I love!

Merry Friday Christmas in July! We only went one hour out of our normal time zone and the ship never changes time, so why do I feel jet-lagged today? Perky said it was because we actually made it into "relaxation mode". (yawn) I cannot wake up. Hoping some Christmas coffee will perk me up. Have regular shopping today. Due to extreme heat the Christmas in July dinner will be hawaiian stir fry with store bought egg rolls and candy cane ice cream Perky found. Woohoo! Will post recipe later.
