I could use some of that Christmas wassail today. Another fun filled post registration nightmare punctuated by a fire alarm caused by a kitchen fire in the university kitchen. fun fun fun.

oh that was a great show. I saw recently that Dan Haggerty died. Have to show it to Perky as they did not get it in Sweden. I am surprised usually such "frontier" shows were very popular. I love tv series that have Christmas episodes.

I listen to the Christmas Channel on Pandora. It's very very good. And FREE!
You should check it out.

Hej Christmas Crazy,
is Pandora a website like Live365 or is it a service like Spotify. We are not allowed Spotify at work.

We were under a Winter Storm advisory last night for freezing rain, sleet, and snow. We got the freezing rain which gave everything a good coating of ice but thankfully not enough to take the power lines down. We did get some very light snow this morning which was pretty but didn't really add much. Our next chance is Thursday with one model showing 6-7 inches of just snow. It's not really fair to have snow without having
Christmas. :scene:

Sort of both. You can play random songs from the station and you can bookmark songs also. Not to sure about all the functions. I just listen to the station. Sorry I couldn't be more help my Christmas friend.

My mom in Indiana sent me a video of it snowing this morning. If they would put the decorations back up, it would look just like Christmas.

Jolly, accuradio (an app and I believe a website) has some very good Christmas stations as well. It may be worth a look for you.

Jolly, prayers that surgery goes well on Friday. Hopefully some Christmas music will clam the nerves and help recovery time fly by.

Very good kiwi. I was thinking of the same thing yesterday but could not remember the name. I used to listen to accuradio many many years ago.
Kudos my Christmas friend.

We're having a heat wave while the eastern part of the country is prepping for a blizzard. El Nino is both Heat Miser and Snow Miser! Well....those with snow think of a White Christmas! :snowwow:

Jolly, you and Perky are in our heartfelt prayers this morning. We believe the Lord will guide the doctor's hands and give the best results possible. Also it is hard to be the loved one waiting for the results so we ask for peace to rule in your heart.

The movie 13 Hours in Bengazai is a real-life accurate portrait of what we ask our special operators daily. And in the worst of circumstances. This is not a Christmas happy movie but a sobering view into what those men endured that night. We lost treasured blood in men of courageous souls. As a daughter of a special operator and DH a retired one, I can tell you these men protect America with no thought of gratitude or appreciation. They are true heros. The men's fees go to a charity set up to help contractors recover from seve injury. I salute them all.

Well as a massive winter snowstorm proceeds to cover large areas of the eastern US, here it is getting warmer by the day. Today it is projected to reach atleast 75F with 80F by Saturday. Next week...........90's! I am so NOT ready for summer weather again. I was wearing shorts at Thanksgiving!

Stay safe on the snowy/ice covered roads my friends. And then enjoy the soft blanket of snow bringing to mind White Christmas.

Today should be a quiet day of meetings and an evening with family. I am so ready for some rest and a sleep in on Saturday morning. It's been a very busy week. No special plans this weekend as Saturday is chores; Sunday is church. How are your weekend plans firming up? Make it Christmas merry & bright! :smilecc:
