April the giraffe gave birth to her beautiful baby this morning and we were all enthralled as we watched the feed live. New life - brings life to our hearts - beginning with Baby Jesus on Christmas morn!

Finally! I thought that baby giraffe was gonna hold out till Christmas.

He is risen indeed!

At the early service, we stand outside the main doors and the priest says "He is risen" Han är uppstånded. Then he goes around to each person to light their Candle and repeats the statement. Each individual has the chance to say Han är sannerligen uppstånden. It makes the ressurection a personal experience. I practiced all week and still fumbled on "sannerligen". Oh well.........Han är fortfarande uppstånden! He is still risen!

Saw a fantastic church sign. It said 'This church is open between Christmas and Easter'. I think a lot of folks forget that.

Turkey Hill all natural vanilla ice cream is the closest tasting to real snow ice cream as I've ever found. Of course the stuff made with Christmas snow will always taste better.
