My in-laws are coming for a visit this weekend. Great people, love them to death. They're bringing me 5 bags of Taco Doritos (YUM!). They don't sell them in Middle Georgia.

When they head back to Indiana, they will take a bunch of our Christmas presents for family with them. Makes it an easier trip for us in December.

It's really nice that your in-laws will be playing Santa and taking the gifts for you. Enjoy your early Christmas in July visit with them. :ornwave:

We picked buckets filled with blackberries yesterday so that means blackberry muffins for breakfast and jars of blackberry jam this afternoon. Hopefully I'll have some extra jars to include in Christmas gift baskets. :treegifts:

Gas prices have finally dropped under $2.00 here. That's a nice Christmas in July present. :merrygift:

I hope the elections don't ruin the Christmas season this year.
I'm already tired of all the drama. You would think a bunch of teenagers were the candidates.

It should never be 91 degrees at 9 o'clock at night. We need a Christmas cool down. :snowwow:

I have discovered Gladys Taber books. I've started with the Stillmeadow Calendar. Her writing style and description of country living is perfect for me. I've been looking online and she's written a lot of books and I need them all. Merry Christmas to me. :smilecc:

I gave up on this election back in the primaries. It's just been one great big bucket of yuck. At least it'll all be over by Christmas.
