This is the first Memorial Day weekend in a very long time that we haven't spent on the lake or the river. Just way too much going on so we've used this time to relax and get away from the crowds. Recharging is needed sometimes. And I see a Christmas movie in my future.

Memorial Day weekend also serves as decoration day at our local cemeteries. I went for a clean, simple look for Dad and Mom this year. Red and burnt orange roses. I'll change it out for Fall and then again at Christmas.

in Indiana we also decorated the graves on Memorial Day as most families visited the Veteran's Memorial grave sites also. I hope it brought you comfort CK and again at Christmas.
