My in-laws want to give each other homemade gifts this coming year. They are all very talented in art, cooking, needle point, music, sewing, etc. I would love to give homemade Christmas presents this year. I am a scrapbooker, baker, and a self taught photographer so I would love to use my hobbies to make a priceless gift.

Came to work and within the first 5 min. I broke a heel. Luckily I have an hour prep period so I was able to run to the store to buy a pair of shoes. What a morning, but on the bright side it was an early Christmas present for me. Yay me!

A perfect Spring day here, but we have a chance for thunderstorms tonight. :| Guess that's how we have to pay for the beautiful weather. I'm in the mood for gardening although it's still too early for that. I need to set all my houseplants outside for a little sunshine. 8-)

Even thought the seasons are changing, my thoughts are still on Christmas! :smilecc:

And aren't those the best gifts? The ones we cherish for a lifetime because someone we love took the time to pour out their heart & creativity to create something one-of-a-kind just for us? That is Christmas! :smilecc:

Everytime my hubby and I splurge and buy something big for ourselves we tell each other it's okay because it's an early Christmas present!

Well, it's definitely Spring time in Arkansas as we had a thunderstorm and a tornado watch last night. Luckily all we got was some thunder and lightening and about a half an inch of rain. The sound of the rain always helps me get a great night's sleep. :sleephat:

I'm redecorating my kitchen. It's been the same way for a long time. I feel like I need a change. Next I'd like to start in on our master bedroom. Hopefully I'll have all my projects finished before Christmas! :smilecc:

We have spring time weather here in CA too. Usually at this time of year I watch one of the Christmas movies I DVR'd from Christmas to keep up my holiday spirit.

Going to the park this weekend because it should be nice. The kids can't wait because we have had so much rain since Christmas.

I don't have anything planned for St. Patricks Day. The kids decorated trinity shamrocks at church today. They enjoyed it.

I'm having trouble adjusting to the time change. I woke up really early this morning and have felt really sluggish all day. I love the new time once I get used to it.

For now plans of Christmas have been replaced by Easter. :D

Bathandbodyworks.com has their shea infused winter/Christmas socks on sale for $3 a pair. I just ordered several pairs. 2 for me and the rest to give away as Christmas gifts. :shop:

I went shopping today and found dd a really neat Disney Princess paper doll book. I don't know if I'll give it to her for her birthday or save it for Christmas. :scene:

I bought those Christmas socks this year for gifts and one pair for myself. I love them. I stocked up this year on the Bath and Body Works holiday had soaps like Noel Vanilla (something like that) and the Spiced Orange. The kids love these soaps.
