Sorry I haven't been on here very much lately but in the world of retail this is the make it or break it season. I hope everyone is having a great start to the Christmas season, but with all of us being CAYer's when does the season end :D Will be sending out my Christmas cards for the card exchange this week in hopes of everyone getting their cards before Christmas. Gotta go for now, have a great day. :smilecc:

Yes and Yes! Yes, I've made divinity -- even in Indiana which is very humid at times. And I've made it here in the dry southwest. It is definitely work the Christmas try -- just take your time and follow each step. Then yummy eats! :dinner:

The old saying "looking for a needle in a haystack" pretty much covers the search. We live on one acre and he walked about half of it. After an hour of searching with frozen fingers digging through leaves and frozen ground I found it. Thanking God for the sun and calm weather this morning! :smilecc:

What a joyful gratitude story, MM. God blessed your son's persistent heart! That's near an impossible task in the snow! You've made my day with a Christmas miracle! :holly1:

Tinseltown, definitely praying for your tooth to heal from the antibiotics as that will prevent infection after the root canal. Been there, done that -- the swelling is the worse part, but in a week you can eat as normal. And no more pain!

Enjoy your decorating as you heal! :gbhouse:

I just wrestled with the Christmas tree. She just doesn't want to stand up straight. I don't think the stand is very good. It looks like I may go out to get a better one tomorrow. It's a good thing there are no decorations on it yet.

Hope you win the 'wrestling' match with your Christmas tree! Wishing you a great search for a replacement and much fun decorating! Then you can sit back and enjoy the beautiful tree and light show!

I had one of my own last night.........as I mentioned before its a 4 yr old artificial tree, and last night the lights went out first on one side, then the other and lastly the top. So my sweet Dh told me to plug it all, turn off the power, then re-plug in the light strings. And it worked! YAY - beautiful tree lights glowing along with all my candles, wreaths and a garland! True beautiful Christmas glow to me!
