We don't usually decorate for St. Patricks Day but the kids already have their outfits picked out for school. My 4 yr old son loves hats for my mom bought him a green glitter hat to wear on Wednesday. Later he can tie a red ribbon to it for a Christmas hat.

Tomorrow I'm wearing my [usually Christmas] Celtic green proudly at work! I just can't find my shamrock earrings..........wonder if Mrs. C borrowed them?

This has been a very long day and tonight I am totally exhausted. I really hope that I sleep better tonight than I did last night....and have sweet Christmas dreams. :sleephat:

Happy St. Patrick's Day CAY friends!
Today I am wearing my Christmas green cotton top. I can't wear it during the holiday season because it is a thin short sleeved cotton top but since we are having nice spring weather I was able to wear it for the first time this year.

I just had to post this because it was too cute.
Last night for our dinner prayers my 4 yr old son said, "Thank you Lord for our food and my family and for my family to not be sick, dead, or in jail."
No one in our family has ever been to jail but he wanted to cover all areas of things that he thinks are bad. He is my little angel with a big Christmas heart.

nettescraps--Your precious sons sweet prayer really brightened my day. Isn't it wonderful how their little minds work! :D

The crocus and daffodils are all in bloom now so it's starting to look like Spring even though it hasn't felt like it today. Prayers to all those who are battling the flooding.

This morning I watched a Christmas episode of Touched By An Angel. It put me in a holiday mood. :smilecc:

I finished another Christmas layout for dd's scrapbook today. Only 4 more layouts and I'll have another scrapbook finished.

Out of the mouths of babes! Children pray from their deepest heart and it encourages we 'adults' to follow their faithful example! Thanks for sharing with us!

Happy Thursday.

Last night I bought a dinner made from the intern chefs at my work. They made corned beef and cabbage and we had a choice of soda bread or hot cross buns. I chose the soda bread. I have never made this before, it was fantastic. A nice way to end St. Patricks Day.

Candycane, the Christmas episode from Touched by an Angel must have been good. I used to watch that show all the time and it always made me cry.

Another day with highs in the high 70's. I think today it is supposed to be 80 degrees. Christmas seems so far away with this weather. I'm glad I have my CAY friends to keep me in the holiday mood.

This weekend we are having a much needed garage sale to help with the spring cleaning. A little spending money is always a good thing.

Right now I'm as tired as the week of Christmas! So glad I switched Saturdays because I have this one off. My 'to do' list is very long but tomorrow I am going to rest!

Happy Spring Everyone. Except for Jodie..where I guess it would be Fall.

We had a 70 degree sunshiny day yesterday. It's 40 degrees with rain today and a chance of snow tomorrow. Crazy weather!! :snowwow: I guess Winter just doesn't want to give up. But I really hope it saves up all the snow until Christmas! :flake: :santa:

Happy Spring! We're having our normal almost-summer-temps-everywhere-else-in-the-world -- 88F!

These temps with full blazing sun in a cloudless sky make me feel like Christmas is long long time away.

Well, when you can't have Christmas you have the joy of Easter!

I brought bags of items into the office yesterday [Dollar Tree finds! mostly] and we decorated the office, hallway, and many desks for Easter. It isn't quite as pretty as our Christmas decorations were.........but a shiny second! :D

I'm taking a break from the house cleaning to check in here for a quick Christmas pick-me-up. I really need one today. :holly1:

Then, Candy, you'd love all our metallic/glitter/decorated eggs at work! :D

I love the metallic glitter look. In addition to the regular Easter Egg dyeing kits, I also bought the kit that lets you paint 'golden' eggs. I have an Easter Egg tree that has glittered eggs on it. I think that's one reason that I love decorating for Spring so much. You get to use such beautiful colors. Almost as dazzling as Christmas lights! :scene:

It rained all day yesterday and last night. Then this morning it turned to snow. We got a light dusting of snow before it turned back into rain. Of course dd saw the snow and starting screaming HoHo. She's convinced that Santa is resposible for all of the snow. But since it's Springtime, I think it's time to put any more Winter weather on hold until Christmas! :flake: :gbhouse:
