Yesterday's actual temperature was almost 100. I was afraid to look at the heat index but it was a brutal day. It's already hot this morning. I watched Snow Dogs last night. Nothing Christmas about it....I just wanted to look at the snow.

I have a huge stash of old windows. Some with full panes of glass, some without. I've got some good ideas about decorating a couple of them for Christmas. I'm gonna stop by the printing shop today and order some vinyl.

I do that all summer long, CandyKane. Just one reason I love Hallmark Christmas movies in July to distract me for a few hours from the heat. Our temps are back to triple digits with 90% humidity and rising dewpoint. That translates as "brutal" too. Hoping a cooling breeze, or light rain, lift your oppressive heat today.

I was at Hobby Lobby yesterday and they are full blown Christmas now. There were 5 isles of Fall decorations and 9 isles of Christmas decorations. The Christmas tree area was completely full of trees but none of them were lit up yet. They even had a couple of the island displays full of decorations.
