I'm back from a wonderful 2 week vacation - we drove down to Florida and back (that's why I'm back - lol). Kids loved Disney again, but this year I think Daytona beach was a close second. Saw a few interesting Christmas things and took pictures - will post them when hubby downloads them - I'll start nagging now

Glad you had such a good vacation Mrs. C. :D We'd like to take dd to Disney World when she's 5. There was a time when I thought we would never get to go anywhere again because she would get so fussy on trips, even short ones. But she's much better now. I have several Disney Christmas ornaments. Maybe we'll do a Disney themed tree. :smilecc:

You could really get her excited about going to Disney with a Disney themed Christmas tree! That would be fun. :D

A Disney tree is a great idea. I'll have to see how many of the characters I can find. I already have Pooh and lots of Princesses.

While I was cleaning today I found a teddy bear that I had bought for dd and was gonna give her last Christmas. It's personalized with her name and says Santa loves you. I can't believe I forgot about this. :santa:

Time for a little Christmas spirit so I stopped by the CAY.

My Good Friday day off was rescinded so I worked 14 hrs today and will work 12 tomorrow so I have it off anyway. I had to have 40 hrs worked. So..........I'm filled up now with new Christmas spirit to celebrate our Lord!

Started a new job, and I love it. Mowed my lawn for the first time this year yesterday, and my only thought was that Christmas is really not that far away, hope everyone has a great day. :smilecc:

We had an amazing day at Church yesterday. Great service, fun egg hunt, and a wonderful meal. Later we went to my parents and had another egg hunt and spent some time visiting with them. The best part is the weather was absolutely perfect. And it looks like another beautiful day today.

Hope all my Christmas friends have a good week!!

I find it really hard to believe that it's only the beginning of April - where's the usual spring weather??? Hubby went out and cut the lawn on Saturday, usually at this time there is still some snow on the ground or at least the ground is still quite frozen. And yes, I think it makes it seem like Christmas is closer too, especially with it feeling like summer.

Christmas seems very far away when the temperature is over 80F daily. :x

Even the dollar stores are out of Christmas goodies.

Hello all my CAY friends. Back from Spring break and I feel I need another one. My sister's wedding is this coming Saturday so we are so busy with the last minute preparations.
It was like Christmas this Easter because of the amount of baskets my kids received. I mean really, when I tell my relatives no baskets I mean NO BASKETS! Of course the kids did not complain.

Have a great week.

This morning I'm trying to get my Sunday School lesson ready and also trying to order the kids some new craft kits. I need to go shopping but I keep putting it off. I don't get real excited about shopping unless it's for Christmas! :smilecc:

Today I struggled not to worry about how long my 'to do' list has gotten, the national debt, the state debt, the city debt, and why politicians lack common sense. SO.....stopped by CAY for some fresh wintry Christmas spirit!

I feel so much lighter! YAY! :snowwow:
