I hope all of my CAY friends are doing well. I listened to a little bit of Christmas music while I worked on my cabinets for the basement today. Tomorrow my father is coming over to help me build a closet. Fun times as I learn carpentry!

Happy Monday Christmas friends! Unfortunately, my home computer has crashed. I told hubby not to worry about it until after the move. Will try to check in every now and then.

Sad to hear about your computer.

I have a trailer you can borrow to help you move into your new apartment.
Come over anytime and get it. It's in the back yard.

Kiwi, I hope your projects are going well.
Sounds like you will have more places to hide Christmas presents when you're done.

Good morning Christmas friends! what a week! Still trying to shake this cold/flu/allergy, whatever it is. I have no time to be sick, therefore I am sick. We are still haggling with the landlord over some bathroom issues, but unbeknowst to us, they put in a new stove. It is a ceramic top........not one we would have chosen. I am wondering if there are covers for the top to protect it when not in use? Any one have any experience with these?

I don't have personal experience, but my mother has one, and she loves it. She does not cover it, so not sure if they're available.
I hope you start feeling better soon my Christmas friend.

I love my ceramic stove top, you can get stove top cleaner cream at Home Depot maybe Lowes works great!
P.S. We kept one reindeer in our front secret garden, it is brown and very real looking except at night we light it, it has rope lights outlining it. But make no mistake this is not Christmas lawn décor, this is my garden deer!! LOL

strangely enough we do not have Lowe´s or Home Depot in Sweden. WE did get the scraper tool free and I was thinking just non abrasive cleanser. I just do not want stray things to scratch it. We also make our own meade for SCA Projects so I Think we will need to buy a Heavy duty hotplate for the meade machine. My new computer also speaks Swedish and is doing strange things to my Spelling and capitalization. I am too tired to go back and correct it.

still having trouble getting the right diabetic supplies. I know they are free but that does not help if they are so difficult to get. I so wish it was Christmas! :shop:

Merry Friday Christmas! Had to make another unexpected trip to the medical centur due to wrongly shipped diabetic supplies but it was made better by listening to OTR´s Miracle on 34th Street.

Jolly, I loved the St. Patricks Day-Christmas video. I love those Rankin-Bass TV specials. I had never seen that one!

Our snowy winter continues as we are set to get up to 20 inches of snow Wednesday and Thursday. Sounds like a good few days to listen to Christmas music while I clean and finish my work in the basement.

While working in the basement this past weekend, I remembered that I need to build something that will allow me to keep my potted lighted Christmas bushes upright while they are on the porch over the holidays. Anyone else run into the same problem in that they tip over in the slightest breeze? Suggestions?
