My new neighbor across the street took down his Christmas lights yesterday. I sure was enjoying them while they lasted. I honestly wonder how long I would leave mine up if Michelle would let me.

Sorry to be absent mostly today but I have chills, fever and muscle aches despite NyQuil. Most surprising I have no appetite despite last meal yesterday. I may not post until tomorrow. Glad to read your posts and share in your post Christmas joys. Good night.

I hope you feel better soon my Christmas friend. Too many people are getting sick.

Thank you. Blood tests showed it is not "the" flu virus but a 24-48 hr '-plain virus. You know the kind where you are very sick, cannot work to prevent spreading germs, and want to well now.

There is no such thing as leaving Christmas decorations up too long.
My tree and home are still decorated! But, sadly, the batteries for wreaths, garlands,
etc., are slowly burning out. Next week may be reckoning day for me.

Finally in bed after a long day. Reading about what my Christmas friends are up to here is always a relaxing way to end the day. Like last night, I may drift off to sleep listening to a Christmas podcast.

Noel, my outside Christmas decorations are still up! Stay Christmas strong despite the low batteries!

My tree and home are still decorated! But, sadly, the batteries for wreaths, garlands,
etc., are slowly burning out. Next week may be reckoning day for me.

True. If I had a den, I would keep it decorated year round.
Now I'm sad for you having to take down your Christmas decorations.
But I'm glad your feeling better now. The bug is no fun at all.
