Merry Friday Christmas!

I started the day with a christmas episode of Moonlighting on TV! that was a nice surprise. Now having breakfast while listening to "upbeat" (as in more rock style) christmas music before I start my friday cleaning. Since it is January 25 and hubby is only working a 2/3 day from having worked last Saturday, I am thinking White Christmas for tonight. We did not get around to seeing it at Christmas.

Merry Christmas in January!

I agree. Christmas All Year is my year round Christmas home. The other site is like visiting a warehouse store. CAY is like visiting a mom and pop store where everyone knows you name, and made even more exciting by the fact that many of us celebrate Christmas in July so hubby does not think I am entirely nuts (had to be a little nuts to move to Sweden). ;-)

That other Christmas site can be overwhelming. I just stumbled upon the podcasts and thought they made for good car ride entertainment.

I managed to download the first three podcasts to my main computer and am listening to Merry Christmas Radio on the computer. The computer has GREAT built in speakers so with the volume up I can hear it all over my area of cleaning.

Oh, I think we all visit other sites throughout the year, but there's definitely no place like home [CAY]. Enjoy the podcasts! :D

Today is my sister's birthday, so I will be very busy. She's already received 2 birthday e-cards from me. Then lunch.......short, due to her work schedule, but nice anyway!

Tomorrow we drive the 4 hours to help my brother load, and move to Phoenix! We are so excited that he is honorably out from under this financial burden, starting a new phase of life, and family will see him more often! More than Christmas & Turkey Day! :D Off I go..........

It is so cold that the pipes are frozen in our apartment. I thought Swedes knew how to cope with winter. No one told me I needed to have extra water in SWEDEN! This is definitely not as fun as Christmas. :snowwow: :snowball: :throw:

I just got home from a friends house. We hadn't seen them in a while and it was great to catch up! We exchanged Christmas gifts with them and shared a few drinks. I am thankful for wonderful friends and a Jim Beam grilling set and bottle of Bourbon! That will keep me warm despite the week long temps below zero.

Hubby opted for The Divide instead of White Christmas which is an absolutely horrible movie and should never be watched at any time especially Christmas.  :sleephat:

I just got back from a University of Vermont college hockey game. Go Cats Go! It was part of my father's birthday present. It was a great game...UVM won 3-2. It felt like a late Christmas present on a cold winter night.
