Enjoy your cool! No Christmas snow today although we did have some sleet earlier. No it's just cold rain.

Speaking of cold rain, here's my Friday morning rundown. I drove dd to school then I went to feed. We have had rain, rain, and more rain and nothing but muck, muck, and more muck. Thank goodness for good boots because naturally I get stuck in the muck with every step I try and take. It takes considerable doing to get myself unstuck from the muck and just make it to the hay barn. Finally got my feeding done. My toes are frozen, my nose is frozen, and somewhere in all this is my lost glove. So I finally make it back home to warm up with a hot cup of coffee. I grab my phone to scroll through Facebook. What's the first post I see. One from a young woman who says 'I wanna be a farmer, cows are so cute!' I kid you not. So since it's sometimes difficult for me to keep my big mouth shut I logged out of Facebook. And then I logged in for some Christmas cheer. Happy Friday!

So much for Christmas weather. We had to turn on the A/C today. It rained today also.

Greetings Christmas friends! The snow has melted at the North Pole.
We are having a mild winter so far, but it is really too early to tell.
We often have a white easter as well.
January and the spring in general is one of my busiest times of year, but I will try to check in at least once a week. One of my goals this year is to spend less time online and more time reading.....so we shall see.

Perky had his first IV treatment yesterday, and seems to have no ill affects.
They said it would be a full three months before there were any conclusive results.
I still do not really understand how it works.

We had a nice Boxing Day cruise. One of our vacation goals this year is the Arctic train trip. We decided to do that in September rather than Christmas in July. If this year is as hot as last, I definitely do not want to be stuck in a tin can on rails. When we visited the Ice Hotel they said it got up to 40C and the Ice Hotel 360 started melting. I just watched the previews on Hallmark for Winter Castle that looks like it was filmed at an Ice Hotel. Can't wait! I hope I can find it on an alternate source this month.

We are having a quiet weekend at home after all the christmas hustle. I hope all my Christmas friends can do the same.

They were wrong about our after Christmas snow. Today the sun is shining bright, the birds are chirping, and it feels like Spring. This must be our reward for the yucky weather we've been having. It's amazing how a change in weather greatly improves your mood.
