Hoping Arby's still has eggnog shakes while we are there. Looking forward to that tastes of Christmas or at least some eggnog flavored coffee creamer.

I have actually considered throwing away of giving away this tree. Then this morning I decided I'm using it again. I'll just drape lights around it. You can't even see the prelit strands on the tree so it won't matter about them. Actually draping new strands on it will give it more of the old fashioned look that I really like. I can't believe how silly I would have been to replace this tree because of one light strand.

I wish pre-lit Christmas trees and wreaths were easier to repair.

Had a great pre vacation lunch with Perky who took the day off. We did some last minute errands and ate lunch at Wayne's Coffee, Sweden's answer to Starbucks.
It was as relaxing as Christmas Day. The family has posted the 7 day forcast for San Antonio, not quite as warm as Christmas in July, but Close enough. Ugh.
