Michaels wouldn't be any closer. We're an hour drive away from everything. A 2 hour drive if you want the really good stores. That's why I've been doing more and more of my Christmas shopping online. It saves a lot of hassle. :shop:

Yes it does CandyKane. I live much closer to stores but just don't have either the time or energy during Christmas season so I shop online! Good luck!

Watched Christmas Vacation today, don't know why, just wanted to watch it, and it made my day that much better.

Went online and found a site that has old Sears Christmas Catalogs and other stores as well, all the way back to 1933. It was nice to go back and remember from time gone by. :smilecc:

I have addressed so many birthday party invitations it felt like I was addressing Christmas cards. I found the cutest stamps. The are animal rescue stamps and they have pics of cats and dogs on them with the message to adopt shelter pets. Adorable! Now I can't wait to see what this years Christmas stamps will look like! :rudolph1:

Hi everyone. I have been very busy these past months so I miss you all at CAY. It's time to plan a Christmas in July cookie exchange. I will be sending out invites at the end of the week. Most of my guest already know when it will be. I can''t wait.

nettescraps, your Christmas cookie exchange sounds great!

Hallmark is showing a couple of Christmas movies tomorrow -- not sure if for Christmas in July or the 4th?

What a great week!! Hubby and I finally managed a few vacation days at the lake and we had a huge birthday party for our 3 year old complete with barbeque, fireworks, and swimming in the pool. It was wonderful! We have truly been blessed with good family and friends. And I got some more good news today. A family member that we haven't been able to have Christmas with for the last 3 years because of her job quit it this week and is going back to school. So she'll be with us for Christmas! I'm so happy!!! :scene:
