Bad news. I'm back in the hospital with bi-lateral PE's.
For everyone else except Noel, that means I have a clot in each long.
I'll be on blood thinners for six months. I hope to get out of here on Friday.
God is in control, so I know everything will be all right.

Oh, my CC! You are still in our prayers. The most important aspect is your healing. I have spent Christmas in the hospital, but I definitely would not recommend it. Believing you will be home to celebrate Christmas Day with your family!

Got stalled in my christmas cleaning. Perky picked up a Cold and neither of us have much energy. Oh well, Christmas will come one way or the other!

Hoping you & Perky recover in 24 hours and your Christmas celebration plans can toninue without a hitch. Prayers my friend.

OH so sorry! hang in there Christmas friend! Hope you get to go home Friday, but if you do not, Christmas is in the heart as well as the home! With my family in Texas, we usually spend alot of Christmas time online. Keep us posted!

1. Christmas Crazy being in the hospital and receivin 24/7 care so he can heal by Christmas Eve.

2. Jolly only has one scrooge day [work] this year.

3. CandyKane is cheerful as always and spreads her joy.

*UPDATE*
First, let me thank you all for the prayers. God heard them and responded. I am so blessed to have friends like you. You are my angels.

Now for the update:
Insurance has approved the drug Eliquis for my long term treatment.
This means I may get to go home today.
I'm just waiting for the doctor to come and give me a once over and release me.
That would be a wonderful early Christmas gift.

I'll keep you all updated.

Good news! In between walks take in some good Christmas movies. We are baking the Christmas ham today and I am making carrot salad and pimento cheese. My idea of turning the main hall into a Christmas corridor did not work out, but there is always next year. 23 December in Sweden is called Little Christmas Eve since today isnthe real prep day. christmas Eve in Sweden is the main celebration day (all day long) with Christmas day being a pajama day with leftovers. We make a more American christmas dinner on Christmas day, that is not typical for Swedes.

The dual christmas ham is baked. Half Swedish mustard topping, half 4 fruit glaze (a Little of this, a Little of that, etc). The carrot raisin salad and Southern pimento cheese are made, both recipes are definitely keepers and will be used for many Christmasses to come!
