still assuming you are in Georgia, this is a cute book! REad it to Michelle as a bed time story and get her in the mood. Romance works wonders. ;-) I have been trying to find a Christmas themed inn or bed and breakfast in Georgia, but so far no luck.

This is the only Christmas in July Festival I can find in Georgia. Tell Michelle you are going on a "date", take her to lunch, the show, and then ice cream afterwards. Start small. One of the best guys in high school that I dated always had a theme and we went to no less than three places per date around this theme. Sadly, he landed on the other side of the rainbow, but I have some fond memories of the fun we had! OH! and you can sneak a present for her from the show, and then give it to her later with the date of your special "date". Another idea I stole from the same guy. :-)

Now is the time for the Christmas in July web searches. This is one church who had a festival. Sounds fun, except for the heat.

some good christmas in july ideas. I like the christmas tank top idea and the menu sounds both good and mostly doable. No tamale supplies at the NOrth Pole, but we can have fajitas with red and green bell peppers! I was thinking of making Flaming Chicken Fajitas for Pentecost with orange, red, and yellow bell pepper strips. :-)

Another church Christmas in July event. When I started web searching about 10 years ago, they were few and far between. There are more every year. Many churches are having a Christmas in July VBS Theme. Wish we had that when I was a church worker. I also see that Operation Christmas Child and Angel Tree are the themes of many of them.

That festival is in Buford, GA. Know what else is in Buford?
The mall of Georgia. Michelle loves to shop. We could do some Christmas shopping also.
Hmmmm. The possibilities...

hm................Hallmark christmas ornaments should be out then. If memory serves, they come out the first weekend in July. I searched for your immediate (sp) area, but did not find anything specific.

Hallmark Christmas dreambook online. Premier is July 12-13. Made the mistake of looking. I used to spend a fortune on these and brought moving box size boxes with me. No room to put them out.....our Little tree takes about 1 box of blue and gold Swedish balls. that's it. The ex did not do christmas trees, but he would hang swag lamp chains from corner to corner in the den for me to hang my ornaments on. I have wondered about reviving that "tradition".........

Found a Christmas in July worship service on YouTube from First Christian Church of Vinton. They even have their bulletins online for the last several years! I also notice that they have an evening hymn sing with the same theme. So wish I was still in church work. That would be great Christmas fun!

Today feels like Friday. Tomorrow is Swedish National Day and we are off on the next cruise to Visby, Gotland next Thursday! Woohoo! One more trip closer to Christmas in July!
