I knew someone once with a Leap day birthday. I always thought it would be too Christmas fun to have a Leap Day anniversary. Ours is in October. Got married on "Swedish Halloween" that year.

We got a good rain overnight but thankfully didn't get any severe storms. Have a terrific Tuesday Christmas friends. :smilecc:

Merry Tinsel Tuesday! It's my birthday month which means I get to decide everything! Next month is Perky's birthday month and he gets to decide everything. It's almost as much as fun as Christmas! :bdline:

Perky having a job talk on Friday about possibly getting a permanent contract. Woohoo! It could be a great Friday Christmas this week. Bad news, he has to see a "retina" doctor. I had no idea there was such a thing.........

Yahoo! A contract for Perky would be answered Christmas prayers! Please keep us updated on the doctor's advice to Perky on his eye. :D

Yes, he is now worried about not being able to continue to work if the eye surgeries do more damage than good. I am unsure if this is a real worry or if he is just feeling anxious about the lack of progress. Keep those Christmas prayers coming. :angelpray:

Enjoying this beautiful day, had a little snow this morning that reminded me of Christmas snows. Hope everyone is having a great day and hope to talk again soon. :smilecc:

Perky got unexpected good news at the eye dr. His vision in the operated eye is is almost as good as the unoperated one. So it is improving slowly. I am sure it is as hard to wait for as Christmas. He goes back on 11 April. Not sure when the retina dr is. I can't keep track anymore.......

For those Christmas friends who were praying for Brenda and Roxanne, please continue to do so. I am no expert on such things but from my years as a church admin and hearing hospice stories, I'd say she has about a week. Pray for peace, comfort, and strength for the family. Her sister, Debra, is her primary care taker, and my friend Brenda, is trying to keep the business going.
