Really wishing it was September. Fall would start arriving with the cooler temps and beautiful colors, and Christmas would be right around the corner. :peekleaves2:

:peekleaves2: Oh, me too! It would be 100F or lower temps here and that is considered Fall. And I decorate my house with Autumn leaves, wreaths etc and pretend its cooler!

And then comes CHRISTMAS! :smilecc:

It's so good to see all the activity on this site. And it's really great to see all of our new Christmas loving friends joining us! :smilecc:

I took my Mom shopping today and we stopped by a few yard sales. I am really suprised that I haven't found any Christmas goodies at any of the sales I've been to. I guess I'm just going to the wrong yard sales.

I worked in my Christmas journal this evening. I have started all my lists now and I'm looking for new recipes and decorating ideas. :elf: :santa:

It's time to get started on the kids craft projects for our Christmas bazaar at church. I have so many great ideas, I just hope we have time to do everything. :shop:

I'm not much of a beauty pageant Mom but every year our town has a Christmas pageant and I've been thinking of entering dd. I know she'd love it. My dd is a perfect tomboy girlie girl. A very interesting combination!! :D

SO........we're planning on staying in the house tomorrow and watching Christmas movies! Tonight, before I go to bed, I'm going to make some cutout cookies! YAY!

Tonight is family movie night. We're taking dd to see Toy Story 3. I can't wait to see all the great new movies that will be coming out at Christmas time. :smilecc:

I've been dividing up boxes of our old baby stuff to give to some of the ladies at church. Giving away so much stuff makes me feel like Santa at Christmas! :santa:

Today we're collecting food items, and buying some more, for the church pantry. In this economy so many people have exhausted their unemployment benefits, despite looking day & night for a job, and hurting. We're giving but we're the ones blessed with joy to share with others. Christmas spirit alive in America!

At the dollar store we found some Christmas items crammed in the back corner of the store. YAY! We're starting our Operation Christmas boxes early! :D

:sleephat: I almost fell asleep in church today during the long bulletin reading! These long hours are wearing me down........when the Pastor mentioned "Christmas" I was alert! He was joking about our near 120F degree temps and stating the children were waiting for cooler temps at Christmas. God used it clear my mind to receive His blessing for the day.

Very well said Noel. :holly1:

My father in law nods off during church service almost every week. And trust me, not the mention of Christmas, or anything else, is gonna wake that man up.
