I am excited to be planning for my birthday party this weekend! It's a sledding party! Then family and friends will be over for dinner and cake later. I am not thrilled to be turning 35, but this weekend will bring me back to Christmas, as that was the last time I went sliding with my family!

Reading your post, I closed my eyes and relived memories in Indiana of snowy February days that had the breath of Christmas. Beautiful.........and so glad you had this wonderful experience kiwi.

Hello to all my Christmas friends! I have taken a few weeks off from my computer and I have missed you guys dearly. I thought I needed to unplug for awhile. Of course I couldn't take a long break from facebook. I live in a very small town and that's where I get my good gossip. Anyways, it's good to be back. I am continuing to adjust to my new reality. It is getting easier now. I appreciate all the prayers for me and my family!

The weather guessers were absolutely right for a change. About 9 oclock last night it started snowing. The ground was very warm so only about 1 inch managed to stick and it's melting fast this morning. I thought they would cancel school but they didn't. That's good because it means a longer Spring Break for the kiddos. I think the snow is a sweet little reminder that Christmas will be back before we know it.

Today we work outside as the rain disappeared this morning. It only lasted 5 minutes - = typical for the southwest. Ya'll buried in snowmeggadon please be safe & careful! We have a problem with wood rot - constantly - and its time to sand, clean and paint the wood trim!

Snowmageddon! Now that was a funny movie. Funny in that it was not quite so bad it was good. Hubby wants to see it again. Just stopping by for a Christmas hello. School takes up more of my life than I ever wanted. I get up at 5:30 to catch a train at 6:55 a.m. to get to the school in Uppsala by 8 a.m. Not a fun commute. My interview today was so so. I think the principal liked me but not the HR person. At the end they said they really needed a swedish speaker, meaning a "swede". So, we shall see. I would like to hear from them but I kind of doubt it. They were talking about reposting the position........not a good sign. Hubby has been sick with what I hope is a stomach virus but fear is now internal complications of his untreated rheumatoid arthritis. Praying he gets into see an actual dr soon. His house dr did not want to see him about the stomach issues............wonderful. He refuses to go to ER. Hoping he goes to work tomorrow it is something that comes and goes which is why I am worried. He needs to rule out appendix, gall bladder, spleen, pancreas, etc. There is not much "ruling out" here. They just treat what is befor their eyes. Jesus give me strength.

Have a great Christmas Friday, mine will be spent listening to my christmas mp3 on the train!
