Had a busy day today and I am so glad it is over, sitting here in my bedroom listening to Christmas music with my wife, tomorrow is baseball and getting the oldest boy ready for Boy Scout camp. Whoever said summer is when things slow down should come and spend a few days in my house. :smilecc:

Happy 90 days to fall, or how most people call it first day of summer. Challenger League baseball today and then taking the oldest boy to load up his camping gear for tomorrow morning, I am going to try to fit some Christmas music or a movie in somewhere today, hope everyone has a great Saturday and keep Christmas in your heart. :smilecc:

Hello Christmas friends. You have been missed. It's been a long time since I've posted. I've checked out the site to catch up on a few posts but otherwise I've stayed away. I had some personal issues with a poster so I decided to take the high road and bow out. I am not a negative person, but I have come to the realization that there are people in this world I don't like. And they don't like me. And that's ok. :D Anyways I'm back andi look forward to catching up with everyone. :smilecc:

Whoo Hoo! 90 days till Fall!?
I'm taking Michelle shopping this afternoon, then to Bonefish Grill for lunch. Love their salmon sandwich. I have a Christmas CD loaded into the car radio. Maybe she'll let us listen to it.
Probably not.

A few nights ago I had a dream about my Mom. It was Christmas time and we were baking, decorating, wrapping gifts etc. Usually when I dream about my Momma I wake up crying. But this time I woke up smiling. I was so at peace. :scene:

Happy First day of Summer to you ksrjreed. We've had several 90 plus degrees already but we've also been blessed with plentiful rain. It's been a weird couple of years for weather. I have an abundant garden. I'll be canning lots of pickles, relishes, sauces, and jams and jellies to give away as Christmas gifts. :shop:

It sounds like your dream was a mid-summer Christmas present.

Michelle and I went shopping today. I didn't get to listen to any Christmas music. In fact, we didn't listen to very much music at all. Driving in the car is great time for talking. So we took advantage of it.

Went to Hobby Lobby and looked at all the Fall and Christmas decorations they had out. 2 isles of Fall decorations and 4 isles of Christmas. The Christmas Spirit flooded my heart as I walked thru each isle. I passed a woman and I could tell by the way she smiled at me, she had it too.

I'm going to enjoy summer and fall, but I can't wait till the Christmas season.

Welcome back Candy Kane!

Since telling Perky about Leon Day and Half Christmas he keeps asking what we are going to do........LOL

I am thinking going with the "half" theme but do not want to make it nearly as big as Christmas in July or Christmas in August which are established "holidays" in the Lundgren house. I am thinking "half-holiday" from work (maybe not this year, but an idea for the future), watching a "half" hour christmas special........maybe 1/2 of a muffin for dessert at dinner? When you google it, you get all the Workaholic links which are not really family friendly. I have been looking at "half birthday" pics and blogs.

There is something I could consider but we do not have that kind of coffee machine. Hazelnut coffee though is a nice touch. I found some gingerbread icecream at the arabic grocery today, it reminded me of Christmas so we will have that on wednesday!
