Christmas prayers are requested for my mother who took a fall in a parking lot and wound up dislocating her shoulder. It has been set and she is now on the way home from the hospital. My mother is total Type A personality who is not happy unless she has 10 things that were due yesterday, she is also 71 years old. Pray for pain management, and that she obeys drs orders and does not over do it too soon. It would probably be easier to put her in a straighht jacket............did I say that?

Last night while watching our usual Sat. night Hallmark movie, they advertised the Christmas in July movies coming up. I turned to dh and said oh boy we can plug in these lights we left up, curl up in our recliners and watch Xmas movies in July, I got one of those "priceless looks" but in another 2 mins he said, gee I should have left the lights up over there, I did such a good job. LOL, he's as Christmas crazy as me if not more so! :D

too Christmas cute. Ex husband was The Grinch in carnate, but Perky is as crazy about Christmas as I am. We have a trip planned to Germany July 22-24, it would not surprise me if he wears his dark blue Santa hawaiian shirt on the trip.

Happy Mother's Day to all my Christmas friends!

oh yeah, update on my mother. She has no torn ligaments or broken bones. She will be in a brace for Three Days, then a sling. She has to make an appt for physical therapy. She told the school she can be back on Thursday. I told her to take a couple of weeks off..........she is 71 years old! But, like Santa's elves, she likes to be busy.........praying she follows drs orders.

Correction my mother has the brace for 3 weeks. She has named it George the Alligator. She said a younger person would have it for 6 weeks but they worry about stiffening in an older person. Either way, it sounds like no Christmas fun.
