My nephew and his wife brought my great nephew to see us for Christmas last night. He's such a sweetie. He was born a few days after my Dad passed away. Oh how my Daddy would have enjoyed that little man.

The first Christmas after someone passes away is always so hard and so different. This year we lost someone from each side. Thankful for the family we have to start new traditions with.

My brother just left for home, so I made the beds and ate a Gingerbread Lady for breakfast. The kiddos are going out with Dad and I intend to leisurely catch up online. My cup of hot cocoa toasts your cup of coffee to the beautiful Christmas lights!
