All children are in school today, it's Christmas in August for the wife and myself. Now to get what I have always wanted since the end of May,,,,,,,peace and quite. :smilecc:

Sounds like some peaceful rest today - like after the children open their gifts on Christmas.

And just a reminder: we need to use the word "Christms" in each post in this thread. THANKS and enjoy! :smilecc:

woohoo! Keep me posted. Not everything makes it to Sweden! They also give them weird swedish names that sometimes have nothing to do with the original title, for example, the original The Santa Clause is called "Now It is Christmas Again". Then they got in trouble with movies 2 and 3, so we have Now it is Christmas Again 2, etc. LOL

Happy Christmas in August!
:bdline: :santasleigh: joyelf

That is so odd that they change the name of the films. Maybe it is licensing rights? Hmm...........well Now We Have Christmas Again 4 would be great! :scene:

Also, I have an interview next Wednesday with a swedish recruiting firm. I am praying they do not show me the door when they hear how bad my swedish is. Hubby´s first report on his interview is that it was "one of the best he ever had". So, we shall see. Exciting time with the Familj Lundgren! :smilecc:

That's great news Jennifer -- praying for you to have a Christmas miracle too! :holly1:

Just pre-ordered Prep & Landing DVD on Amazon.com so it arrives on the release date! That's Thanksgiving Week and we plan to watch it right after Miracle on 34th Street this year. We're starting a new tradition. It took Disney 3 years to release this Christmas classic and we're all excited! :D

This thread is behind the pace of last years 1500 posts thread.
Last year the thread hit page 33 on August 10.
This thread hit page 33 on August 19.
Will it make it to 1700?

I LOVE Miracle on 34th Street. It's my favorite holiday film next to the 1984 version of A Christmas Carol.

Well, things haven't slowed down here like I thought it would. So many things happening. I've been working on the Christmas All Year website, blog, and updating the forum. Website needs a lot of work, we had to move servers and now somehow not all the pages are showing up but they are there totally intact (very strange).

Oooh almost forgot - I went to Bronner's this past weekend, so loved it and spent way too much money. Girls each got themselves a personalized ornament, among other things. Hubby took lots of pictures so I'll be posting them soon. It was a great touch of Christmas in the summer!

The kids and I are at the trailer, awaiting DH's arrival in a few hours! We brought Christmas Vacation, Elf and Miracle on 34th Street for our Christmas movie night. We just haven't decided on which night that will be. We might get a rainy day, early next week so it might work out well for then. :scene:

I used to live in northern Indiana and never made it to Bronner's (What was I thinking?). My wife went with her mother once and she loved it. Maybe if I go back for a visit next summer I'll go check it out. Can't wait to see the pictures!

I went shopping at a thrift store today and I found dd a BEAUTIFUL Christmas dress and the cutest pull on pants. The pants are pink with candy canes all over them. A young lady can never have too many Christmas outfits. :smilecc: :angelmerry:

I cleaned the bathroom tonight and loved every minute of it (60 of them). I had my Pandora app playing my Christmas radio station thru my phone. Singing along with every song. :sing: My wife walked in and thought I was nuts. :D

But I bet she liked the clean bathroom  You could tell her if it wasn't for Christmas music you'd have a dirty house - lol
