Hello everyone! I made it back from vacation yesterday. We went to the Cayman Islands and Cozumel Mexico via Carnival Cruise Lines. We had a BLAST! 8 couples from our Sunday School class went together. Life long memories were made.

I hope all my Christmas friends are doing well. Still praying for you all.
I hope your gout gets better soon ksrjreed.
Still praying for a speedy recovery for your hubby Jolly.

Christmas wishes to everyone!

Welcome Back Christmas Crazy!

Hubby is having his first day back to work today. I "scalped" him in order to let the scalp heal better and he was not a happy camper.

I had to reorder the Christmas movie set he was supposed to have had for his home convalescence and we now hope to watch it for Christmas in July. I also downloaded a "Christmas in July" game for my Samsung entertainment device. It was not free but did not cost much. It is really just a Christmas game with Christmas in July as the title, but I still had to have it. It was just too Christmas cute.

Will be a tough week at work. First Round of registration acceptance. Pray for a productive and less stressful week than I anticipate.

He will never agree to that I am quite sure...but hey, a girl can dream, right?! Anyway...I'm happy yto be back in the Christmas Spirit! Missed you all!! Thanks for being right here where I left ya! ;-) :holly1:

Well the kiddos are sad-faced now that the Hallmark Christmas movie week is over. We have tons of Christmas dvds but in their little minds there is a time for a dvd and a time for Hallmark. :P

In San Antonio this time of year, anything below 100F is called a Cold front. Christmas in SA can be 80+.

I hear you. Our average Christmas temp is 88F with full sun. How I miss wintry Midwest Christmases!

Checked airfare today. Prices are really good. It is not THAT much more to go from mid november and come back Dec. 10. Since Christmas is in full swing the day after Christmas, it could be nice for Perky to see a bit of SA Christmas. The River Walk should be lit early in the month...........hm................hope prices are that good after his drs appt.

I did not know how homesick I was..............sigh.

So, who's up for Christmas in July? Christmas Crazy, did you come up with a plan? It seems like there are more and more events every year. At the very least you can take Michelle to a Hallmark store and out to lunch. While I could still get cruise reservations, hubby was not able to move his missed vacation days to Christmas in July, so we go with plan A and will just go out to eat. Strange as it may sound, the Lebanese restaurant across the street does a great Hawaiian pork filet. WE do Hawaiian for Christmas in July and a friend sent me a recipe for Hawaiian coconut jello she made for her daughter's birthday party. Might give it a try! Christmas in July is just around the corner!

We always celebrate Christmas in July. It was my idea from day one. It tends to be the same pattern every year because the kiddies want it that way: holiday meal....some decorations....1 small gift...Christmas music & movies. :singing: :smilecc:
