Do yo prefer Christmas wrap or bags?

Me? I prefer a creatively wrapped item with handmade bows! :gbhouse:

I love both! I love pretty Christmas paper. But there are so many beautiful bags as well. I enjoy wrapping them and putting them in bags so the person cannot tell what the present is. :scene:

It's gotta be wrapped. Although, I don't think I've ever received a Christmas gift in a bag. At least, not that I can remember. But it's gotta be wrapped. Bow is optional. I love opening presents.

Some of the bags we find here at Christmas are awesome! Last year each of my three children had a gift wrapped and in a Christmas bag close to 3 feet tall. The look on their faces when they saw those bags was priceless.

Putting a wrapped present in the bag is an awesome idea. I'll have to do that. My kids, 3 teenagers, always guess what half of their presents are.
Great idea!

I just noticed I'm a "Tinsel Thrower" now. COOL!
I think this deserves an early Christmas present this week. What should I get myself?

Mine: <5% where I live. But I'll be in northern IN for Christmas. so now I have increased my odds to 26-40% bordering on 41-50%.

Cute! I am in Sweden so probably 80-100%. We did not have snow until January my first year, it came for Christmas my second year, and on October 22 last year. I am praying for snow now! Much prefer snow to heat. Swedes know how to keep warm, but they have no idea how to keep cool in summer. :flake:

jwlundgren is now Tomtemor! It either means Santa's wife/mother, mother christmas, or gnome mother depending on your interpretation. Tomte=Santa, gnome, or gift bringer. Mor=mother. If you see the movie The Gnomes and the Trolls on DVD, grab it! We saw the swedish version and it is so cute. Not exactly Christmas, but the gnomes (elves)are also the creatures who take care of the farm. They are always in conflict with the evil trolls.

Happy Christmas in August!

I've already ordered Prep & Landing, and hope to add to our collection later this year. I love Christmas movies all year long! You picked some of the best MM!

I sent the request to my parents in the US to put in our Christmas box this year! Of course, sometimes we do not get it until Easter, but that is quite okay! Christmas in Apri works too!

Always! I've already requested the days off! They have special pricing and no shipping on some items so I have save a bundle. PLUS it is Christmas fun!!! :shop:

So cool! I used to try to be off for the July days, but for the rest, just watched when I was home. Here in Sweden, I might try to watch some overnight, have to check the website for hours.

When I saw your new forum name, Jennifer, I thought we had a new member. Thanks for explaining to us the meaning of your new name!

That's two of us who have pre-ordered Prep & Landing!

For some reason I woke up at 2am and found a Christmas program on HSN. What a nice surprise to wake me up!

I decided after a year that it was time. It would have been even more perfect had we landed the job at Tomteland.

Thinking of watching Christmas in the Clouds today, a movie about a native american resort trying to save itself from bankruptcy. Grahame Greene stars as a vegetarian native american chef, great comic relief. A nice Christmas treat in the August heat!
M. Emmet Walsh is his usual self, also a great character.

Happy Christmas in August!

I woke up at 5:30 am to the sound of my annoying little dog barking at me. It probably wouldn't have been so bad if she knew how to bark Christmas carols like those dogs on TV. :smilecc:

This sounds like a great Christmas movie! I'll have to try and find this one. :hohat:

My 15 yr old daughter and I are sitting in the living room right now. Listening to Christmas music. Each on a laptop. She is playing a game, I am surfing. And we are talking about all kinds of stuff. Sadly, I know this won't last long. She is growing up so fast. But I'm loving it right now.

I was just looking at some upside-down Christmas trees on Google images. I don't like them! At least not the pictures I saw.
Does anyone put one up?
